Aquascot Partners All in for the Greater Good at Christmas

Employee-owned Aquascot partners have showed once again how much they care about the local community. As every other year, they have donated their personal food to the local food bank – but a team also went the extra mile by giving away their corporate ‘One for All’ vouchers to MFR Cash for Kids, a charity supporting children living in poverty.

Highland Food Bank

Everyday people in the Highlands are struggling to put food on the table. Highland Foodbank is engaging and empowering the local community to support foodbank projects, providing emergency food to thousands of people nationwide every year. Backed up by the Charity Group, Aquascot partners supported their cause by donating non-perishable items such as tinned fruits and vegetables – and seaweed crisps from sister company SHORE – along with essential hygiene items.

MFR Cash for Kids

1 in 4 children will be living in poverty this Christmas. Using the donations they receive from good Samaritans, MFR Cash for Kids purchases gifts for children who are at risk of receiving nothing on Christmas morning – any funds remaining will be used to provide grants for disadvantaged children next year.

Aquascot managed to raise £60.85 during the annual Christmas Jumper Day – this amount was topped by an astonishing £180 coming from the team of nine in the Engineering department, graciously donating their ‘One for All’ Christmas vouchers of £20 to the greater cause. In addition, a further donation of £200 has been made.

This month, Aquascot also donated £200 to Highland Hospice and £200 to Alness First Responders, charities which have benefited from our support for numerous years.

We believe each and every one of us can help make Christmas a special day to those most in need.
