Aquascot will work closely with foodservice specialists FusionFSM to develop a growing customer base for our excellent Scottish-farmed salmon and trout.
One of the largest seafood processors in Scotland, employee-owned Aquascot has supplied the Waitrose & Partners supermarket group with Scottish salmon and trout since 1993, and we are now expanding our operations to provide this fresh & frozen seafood to customers across the foodservice market.
Our foodservice sales partner FusionFSM are market specialists, and work with clients in a range of sectors, including hotels, restaurants, staff dining, pubs, universities, healthcare and events. Aquascot’s high-specification facilities, range of trusted farming partners and vast experience as a processor equips us very well to offer a range of quality seafood to customers across these industries — from healthy fillets at significant scale to specially-prepared, high-end offerings and whole fish for 5-star hotels and restaurants.
Growing and evolving
As an essential business during 2020’s COVID-19 situation, Aquascot’s production has continued at high scale throughout the year and they have ensured that robust and ongoing support is available for their partner employees and the local community. As 2021 approaches, they are continuing to grow and evolve as a business — as typified by this expansion into the foodservice market — and take great pride in being a major employer in the Highlands of Scotland.
