Aquascot Partnership Council is Building its Succession Plan

The Partnership Council is bidding farewell to two of its longest standing members, Rachel Hannah and Paul Campbell, respectively Chair of the Partnership Council, and Partner Director on the Aquascot Board.

A Partner with Many Hats

Rachel Hannah is stepping down from her 4-year term as Chair of the Partnership Council. During that time, she has proved a valuable asset to the team, creating strong links between the Aquascot Trust, the Partnership Council and the Leadership Team. A fervent advocate of Employee Ownership, she also sits externally on the Scotland for Employee Ownership Board (so does our Managing Director John Housego).

Taking a coaching approach well before it was officially in place, she has been a mentor for the more recent additions to the Partnership Council, providing them with regular support so that they could gain confidence in their roles.

It's worth remembering that Rachel was recently promoted to the position of Head of Technical, a role that she is taking very seriously – the business can count on her to keep food safety at the heart of all that she does.

As she withdraws from the Partnership Council, current Vice-Chair Nadean Taylor, Assistant Production Manager, is stepping up to fill her shoes as Chair. The rest of the team are genuinely excited and proud to have her seen develop over the past months, so she is ready to take on that new responsibility.

A Witness to our EO Development

Paul Campbell has been a member of the Partnership Council pretty much since its infancy, about six years ago, in the midst of our Employee Ownership journey. He has seen first-hand the evolution of the Partnership Council, starting from an Events Committee – organising Christmas parties, family fun days etc. – to a well-trusted body responsible for reviewing policies and implementing change.

Patrycja Cisewska, who was recently promoted Health & Safety Advisor, is taking on his role as Partner Director on the Aquascot Board.

We thank both of them for their contribution over the years, and the character and dedication that they have shown. You will be missed, but thankfully, your colleagues know you’re not going very far… You will always be at a call’s reach!
