Surfing the Healthy Wave — The Latest from SHORE Seaweed

It's been a successful summer so far for Aquascot's sister company SHORE — with two exciting new retail listings in the UK.

Big news for SHORE - The Scottish Seaweed Co. this summer, as they celebrate two new major listings for their popular (and tasty!) seaweed chips.

This is another excellent achievement for the growing brand on retail shelves, and everyone at Aquascot is delighted to see the success they're having with buyers and grocery customers alike.

'Waitrose of the North'

The first of these new listings is with renowned English supermarket group, Booths — the 'Waitrose of the North' (well, the North of England...) — with 27 stores across Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, Manchester and Yorkshire.

SHORE Sweet Sriracha and Peking Duck flavoured chips will be available in Booths very soon, and we're looking forward to seeing how much their customers enjoy these crunchy snack treats.

Going UK-wide

SHORE's second new listing is a red letter day for the brand — their first nationwide distribution across the entire UK.

The 25g packs of Sweet Sriracha Seaweed Chips will be stocked in 190 Morrisons stores across the nation, and the major supermarket will be featuring them on their 'Better for You' snacking shelves — positioning them as the healthier alternative to 'traditional' crisps and snacking foods.

This deal is especially significant as the UK anticipates new laws coming in late 2022 that will restrict promotions on 'HFSS' (High in saturated Fat, Salt and Sugar) foods on supermarket shelves — and SHORE Seaweed Chips remain compliant with these new measures, without sacrificing their trademark flavour and crunch.

The Seaweed Chips will be delivered and showcased in Morrisons in a newly-designed 14 pack display case — now proudly featuring a '100% Sustainable Hand-Picked Seaweed' badge.
